The Nicene Creed

The Nicene Creed is the most commonly accepted and used statement of the Christian Faith. In liturgical churches, it is said every Sunday as part of the Liturgy. It is common to the Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Anglicans, Lutherans, Calvinists, and many other Christian groups. Those that do not have a tradition of using it in their services are committed to what it it teaches. In the West, the Apostles' Creed is used at Baptisms, and the Nicene Creed at the Eucharist (Mass, the Liturgy, the Lord's Supper, or the Holy Communion). The East uses only the Nicene Creed. (this introduction is based on that of James E Keifer, Christia)

Credo in unum Deum, Patrem omnipotentem, factorem coeli et terrae, visibilium et invisibilium. I believe in one God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And of all things visible and invisible: I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, Begotten of his Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of very God, Begotten, not made, Being of one substance with the Father, By whom all things were made: Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, born of the Father before all ages, God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made, who for us men and our salvation came down fron heaven.
And was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, And was made man, And was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary and was made man.
And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate. He suffered and was buried, And was crucified also under Pontius Pilate, he suffered and was buried.
And the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures, And ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of the Father. And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead: Whose kingdom shall have no end. And the third day he rose again according to the scriptures. And he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father. And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead, whose kingdom shall have no end.
And I believe in the Holy Ghost, The Lord and giver of life, Who proceedeth from the Father and the Son, Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, Who spake by the Prophets. And I believe one Catholick and Apostolick Church. And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and giver of life, who proceedeth from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified. Who spake by the prophets. And I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church.
Confiteor unum baptisma in remissionem peccatorum. I acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins Je reconnais un seul baptême pour la rémission des pèches.
Et expecto resurrectionem mortuorum et vitam venturi saeculi. And I look for the Resurrection of the dead, And the life of the world to come. And I look for the resurrection of the dead and life of the world to come.
Amen Amen. Amen Ainsi soit-il
